For more than 60 years, his entire focus in the fishing world has been on the North Fork East End waters. In particular, he is a huge fan of employing light tackle techniques to obtain maximum enjoyment from the fishing experience.
His love for light tackle is clearly evidenced by the adjacent photograph of a 40# Yellowfin Tuna that was landed on 20# test line.

“First Mate” Arlene
Captain Mike’s wife; she holds a U.S. Power Squadron certificate, Seaman Grade.
Since her childhood, she has been a multiple water sports participant, then a boater, including sailing.
She has spent over 20 years clamming and fishing on Long Island.
Arlene is also an avid, lifelong outdoor, nature, and scenic photographer.
She is often on board with Captain Mike during their charters and tours and does much behind the scenes.
